Stadium
The National Stadium (officially PGE Narodowy) is a multi-purpose sports facility in Warsaw, built for Euro 2012. Its characteristic facade in white and red colors refers to the Polish flag.
History
The stadium was built in the basin of the former 10th-Anniversary Stadium. Construction lasted from 2008 to 2011. The official opening took place on January 29, 2012. Since then, the stadium has hosted the biggest music stars and the most important matches of the Polish national team.
